FAQ

1) How long does it take once I place my order for it to arrive?My typical turnaround time is 4 business days, and transit time is normally 3-4 business days, so usually about 7 or 8 days. If I am out of stock on the size or color you ordered it will add about 4 days to that. For custom orders, ordered from my CUSTOM section, my typical turnaround is 7 business days, plus transit time.2) There is a design that I see on a tank, but I want it on a sweatshirt, can I do that?You can have any of my designs on any of my shirt styles. I screenprint every single shirt by hand when it is ordered, so you can always have it however you want it. Pricing is based on shirt type. All Firedaughter off the shoulder sweatshirts are $38, tanks are $30, and long sleeved raglans are $33. If you want a design on a sweatshirt that you see on a tank, simply order any sweatshirt, and in the box that says NOTES TO FIREDAUGHTER that you will see when you check out, just tell me the design you want on it, along with the size, color, and ink color. Same goes for the other way around- always order the style of shirt you want- that is how you are charged correctly. Then leave me the instructions in NOTES TO FIREDAUGHTER.3) I don't see anywhere to choose my size- how do I tell you size?When you are checking out, there is a box that says NOTES TO FIREDAUGHTER. This box is where you leave me all instructions, including size.4) How should I leave my information in NOTES TO FIREDAUGHTER for you?If you want the exact color and ink color shown in the example photo, simple leave me the size- in the NOTES TO FIREDAUGHTER box you would type "just like example, size M" or "Medium".If you want the design on a different color, you would type "eco-red tank, size Large, white ink" or "pink XL with black ink"....etc. The important thing is you leave me the color, size, and ink color you want the design on.5) How do I know what size/color everything comes in?The final photo in each listing in my shop is a grid that shows all of your color choices, style choices, and sizing information. Double click on the grid to make it full size. For all tanks you will see 4 different styles of tank, along with the colors and sizes of each. For long sleeves, you will find 3 different styles, along with colors and sizes. For off the shoulder sweatshirts, you will find 10 colors, along with sizing information. Use these grids to choose what exact shirt and size you want me to make your shirt on. Then in NOTES TO FIREDAUGHTER when you are checking out, leave me instructions using my exact verbiage on the charts. For example, if the shirt you want is labeled "grey", then tell me you want it to be "grey", not "the dark grey". Use only the verbiage I use to ensure I make you the color you want. Also make sure you leave me the size, using the size choices on the charts. Each style is slightly different, make sure you read the size charts. They are extremely easy to use and understand, but you have to look at them.6) I'm trying to figure out my size. What size do you wear in the photos?I am 5'5", 117-ish pounds, D-cup, very long torso. In the eco-heather tank I wear a Large. In all 3 styles of burnout tank I wear a Medium. I wear a Medium in both styles of long-sleeved raglan, an XS in the baseball burnout raglan, and a Large in my off-the-shoulder sweatshirt. In many of the photos of the off-the-shoulder sweatshirt I am modeling an XL- I love them very big and off-the-shoulder but in real-life I wear a Large in them.7) Why don't you carry size Small in the off-the-shoulder sweatshirt?The way that I intend my off the shoulder sweatshirts to fit is the way I show them being worn in the photos- big and off-the-shoulder. That is Firedaughter-style! The Small off the shoulder sweatshirts are too small to give an adult- even a very small adult- that look. I am a marathon runner and a good deal of my clients are teeny tiny marathoners, and they are wonderful in the mediums. This is just something that you have to trust me on. I do not offer them in size small, as they will not give the Firedaughter look, and this here is Firedaughter Clothing! 8) If I order a CUSTOM design from your CUSTOM section, can I see the design and make revisions before you make the shirt?No you cannot. I am super happy to make you a Firedaughter pretty with your own favorite song lyrics or a phrase that is important to you, but my main focus is my own Firedaughter line. The best thing for you to do is find a design of mine whose style/font you love, and tell me to make your shirt in that same style/font. From there you just have to trust me. There are many companies online who you may want to use if you want to have more control past that. Customs from me are only for peeps who love and trust my style.9) Would you be interested in advertising or doing a product review on my blog?I do not do any paid advertising at all. It is very important to me keep my prices as low as possible, and to do that I do not spend one dollar on advertising. My clients are *amazing* and my company has grown simply by word of their mouths. I work so extremely hard to make them happy, and they reward me by telling all of their friends about Firedaughter, pinning my pretties on Pinterest, and spreading the word about Firedaughter on their Facebook pages. All of my clients come to me completely organically, and that's exactly how I love it! I am a very lucky girl. I do occasionally do giveaways on blogs, but they are always for a specific cause that Firedaughter is involved with, and always sought out by me or my assistant.10) Do you wholesale?I do not wholesale. Every single person wearing Firedaughter ordered their Pretty either through my Etsy shop, my Firedaughter Facebook page, or directly through me. I do not mass produce at all. Every single shirt is made one at a time by me, after it is ordered, according to the specifications of my clients. My old-fashioned handmade methods are not compatible with wholesale pricing.11) Do you provide a discount if I order more than one item?No I do not. I promise that I keep my prices as low as possible! Firedaughter is so unique in that every single shirt you order is made just for you, by me, one at a time, after you order it. You pick color, you pick size, you pick ink color, you pick design. My cost doesn't decrease if you order more than one shirt because I don't mass produce.

This is my silly perfect little crazy family. My daughter Autumn is the Firedaughter after whom my company is named. My silly boy is Brady, and that hot sexy man is my husband of 9 years James, a Phoenix Fire Captain.

My name is Samya, I am the designer of a successful little line of clothing called Firedaughter Clothing. I am the wife of a Phoenix Firefighter and mother to a 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son. I am an avid marathoner, and beyond blessed with success in my business, a loving and healthy family, and a strong athletic body. I make tees for women who are far too fabulous to wear tees. You'll wanna live in my clothes, period. You will look as beautiful and as strong as you feel.Every piece of clothing is made by hand, one at a time, by me- Samya. You get to choose the style/type of shirt, and the color...make it uniquely yours...I only use vintage-y distressed materials and I screenprint by hand, using non-toxic, water based inks using a very soft hand...your shirt will feel like you've been wearing it for years.
